| Lefka Ori (White Mountains) is a massif at South-West Crete. The mountains' color is really white because of the limestone which they mostly consist of. Besides, the mountains are covered with snow in Winter time, and the snow remains are still there in May and even in June sometimes. Lefka Ori have more than 30 peaks above 2000 meters high.
